I just spent the last hour talking to Irene, my landlady. She's a spiritualist, a medium. I've been invited to check out a spiritualist meeting/lecture/session, to see if it interests me, and to come and take a look at the museum at the hall. She's also going to bring some books around for me, as general reference because she thinks I might like

I've now been lying in bed for more than an hour. I'm very tired but cannot sleep. I hate when this happens. I was really hoping to get some kind of schedule going on. Yesterday morning we took my old cat into the vet's to have her euthanized. We'd had her since she was 6 weeks old, and I was 8 I believe.
