The flea dips don't always work that well, to be honest. It's expensive, but we stick to the vet treatments like Advantage/Advantix. Petsmart and other places sell cheaper versions, but they're a waste of money and don't work. If you have a curly haired dog, the infestation is likely worse, and you may need to buy carpet spray from the vet, too. I'm so glad we don't have our curly haired sheepdog anymore! So difficult to deal with!

Often, I'll forget to put the flea stuff we buy on the dogs, and I end up with fleas. Seriously, they come in on the dogs, but then they find the much tastier me, and I'm the one with fleas. Bugs of all sorts love me! Amy very rarely gets bitten by anything, which I believe is related to all the medications she's on. My blood is just more to their liking, especially with all the sugar & carbs I eat!

Really glad to hear you're feeling good and like a woman in your own right, not just Mommy! Every woman needs that!

that's what I'd heard, about the flea dips not working. and I think it burns their skin, too. :( I need to get my both dog AND cat on the advantage stuff. I've been doing topical meds but I think it would work better with an oral thing. It's so weird that you get bit but not Amy, because Ella is really the only one that got bitten a lot. Lily had a few and Johnny and I hardly at all, but poor Ella has them all over. We just think it's that baby sweet meat!
Tootsie is a yorkiepoo, so she does have curly hair, but we keep it pretty short for the heat and everything.
I;m stressing bc they are just everywhere!!! I have bug bombed my house over the past two days and treated the animals so hopefully that will help!
