Downgrade much?

I promised pictures, so pictures you will get. (Notice there was no promise of an update any time soon...)

Tailgating in the Hecht's parking lot before we got kicked out.

Mish had some trouble getting her sunglasses off...

Hanging out at the Lakefront before fireworks.

Trying to look cool.

We tried so desperately to take a decent picture of ourselves; we failed pretty miserably.

More chillin'.

As the story goes... My dad sent a copy of my book review of Paul Auster's "The Brooklyn Follies" to Mr. Auster himself, touting how much I love the man and his work and his genius-ness. I get an envelope in the mail a couple of months later with the above-pictured article inside. Respect level for Paul Auster = so high. Couldn't love the man any more. Almost completed my collection of everything he's ever written (four books currently being handled by the United States Postal Service on their way to my lovely possession). Thank you to whatever high and mighty thing made this happen. I couldn't be more grateful for my love of Paul Auster and everything he is.

And scene.

The world only spins forward; we will be citizens. The time has come. Bye now. You are fabulous, each and every one and I bless you. More life; the great work begins.

Good night and good luck. God bless and God speed.

P.S. - I promise (really, I do) to get around to updating about my wonderfully exciting life and all that it is. Between work at the theater, writing the Visitor's Guide for The View in less than two weeks total, getting started on my new job writing regularly for the IUP Magazine, maybe reading a few pages to get closer to writing some book reviews for The Penn and trying to have any social life at all... I don't have much time to sit at my computer and ponder my life. I do miss doing so; I truly do. But, for now, it shall wait until after July 21 when I can just sit back and think about how much I hate working for The View sometimes (those times don't include when I get paid $10/hour to sit at home and write...which is all the time...so...yeah...).
