I'm the exact same way with Irish boys. I'm not sure why... I've never been one of those girls who particularly fancies foreigners or foreign accents, but damn... the Irish boys know how to get it done. I too have come across the proud-of-their-country thing (even the Irish folks here are still so patriotic!) and found it to be, er, totally hot. Because they seem to do it in an actually genuine way, unlike tons of people here who seem to think that sticking a flag on their car will do it. And they seem to just want to have a good time and they're always smiling and cute and... yeah, well maybe I seem to be describing one Irish boy in particular.

Ahh, yes, my roomie has a love for the Irish. I don't mind them (not at all) but they just don't spark that... something.
