Hey now this isn't RIs fault, we be good people and ill be home next weekend to prove you wrong :). First days are rough and i know where your coming from because I've had alot of them myself. Ive said it a thousand times " I cant believe someone is paying me to do this shit " office life is basically an excuse to make money for doing next to nothing while socializing. Hence why most party goers turn into business majors because they are good at talking bullshit. Given actual concentration the work could be done by a 15 year old in 2 hours. Anyway back to the other intern. Ya some people drop into situations and just click. The basic rule of thumb here is to seem interested and eventually people warm up to you. Try to have little conversations about something going on. Or hey if that doesnt work bring in some cookies, Ive done it. People are like pets feed them a treat and their yours.
