Seems like some people here like stories and fairy tales. I remember this story my mother used to tell me when I was a kid.

Come to think of it it was one of the nice things she actually did for me.

I think I've heard that one before. But what does 'tu fui ego eras' mean, anyway?

It's Latin, and it simply means "I was once you. You will become me."

The Latin teacher we had- you know of them, surely. was such a crashing bore. You knew as you had to listen to her recite for twenty to thirty minutes of classtime from the textbook we used that you were in fact, studying a dead language. It seemed at times she was trying to bore us into the dust the Romans had long since gone to.... I spent a lot of my time daydreaming. Pity. Seems these wizards use latin a lot too. it must be a powerful tongue.

It's funny you mention it being a dead language. Sometimes at night, and Vincent if you breathe a word of what I say to anyone I'll be upset.

Sometimes at night I lie in my bed awake wondering about things maybe I shouldn't. Then sometimes I get lonely, confused and scared and I start praying. But, my prayers aren't in English. I'm almost certain some of it is Latin.

I find it a beautiful, haunting, and entrancing language.
