Appearance: Tyki is almost entrancingly handsome. His slightly wavy black hair is usually slicked or swept back in a way that's nearly always flattering to his sharp features and deep gold eyes. Sometimes he lets it down loose and sticks on a pair of big, silly glasses when he wants to go more casual, though that's a slightly rarer side of his. Most of the time he is the absolute picture of elegance and grace. He wears simple, crisp outfits that only accentuate his good looks and tall, slim figure.
Normally his skin is just a tint darker than fair, but when his Innocence is activated, it turns a deep grayish brown. No one's really been able to explain why this is, but Tyki hardly minds. He knows he's a catch either way.
Personality: Tyki seeks only one thing: pleasure. He knows great self-restraint and impulse control, but they're simply guises for his one true pursuit in life. He can find the good in just about any situation, and not in a way one would call optimistic. No matter what's going on, Tyki knows how to get enjoyment out of it. Be it a long, deadly fight, a simple game of cards, a meal with friends, or a ruthless murder, Tyki can go about pretty much anything with an enigmatic smile on his face. If he ever feels remorse for his carelessness, it rarely ever shows, and only when he slips.
This is not to say Tyki is cruel, precisely. Oh, he can be. If someone or something stands between him and what pleases him, he will eliminate it with a careless smile on his face. But he has an oddly kind, gentle side to him that comes out often in his calmer moments. He displays a certain affection with children and makes a lot of friends with his easy charm. He can go from playful and joking to smooth and sophisticated in a heartbeat, and he makes it all work. He indulges in small kindnesses as often as he indulges in small cruelties. It all amuses him.
But there is a darker, more serious side to Tyki. He can buckle down, put on a straight face and get the job done, but the occasions on which he actually appears serious are very few indeed. Tyki has his own fears and anxieties that tug at the bottom of his soul, dogging him silently beneath his laughing facade. He is a dangerous man to provoke be you friend or foe. His rage is a thing that will destroy everyone around him indiscriminately. Luckily, it's very hard to make Tyki that angry. Most things just add to the pleasure he takes from his life.
Abilities/Strengths: Tyki is a member of the Black Order and a wielder of a weapon known as Innocence. Innocence is a very malleable weapon that can be used against the monster-machines called Akuma and can destroy them. Innocence can be used to attack anything and anyone else, as well, and Tyki plays to that strength. His equipment-type Innocence takes the form of a large black butterfly with deep purple markings that he calls a Tease. Using a pair of white gloves as controls, Tyki can manipulate the Tease to do several things: it can burrow right into an Akuma's center and devour it from the inside out, multiply itself and do the same, create a shield for Tyki, enable him to fly about in the air (if not too nimbly), and even fetch small items using the teeth it has in its skull-like face.
Tyki's overwhelming charm, poise, and amicability make him nearly impossible to dislike, and he takes full advantage of that. He uses his friends towards his own ends as easily as he makes them in the first place, though a special few will enter his close circle and become beyond reproach. Those he will defend fiercely and with a deep loyalty that often surprises.
Weaknesses: Tyki is an extremely arrogant man. Growing up powerful and attractive got him everything he wanted and more, and he came to believe that what he was naturally entitled to what he wants. He keeps this greedy desire well-hidden, but it becomes all too obvious in a fight or a game, and it's a side of him that can be easily exploited. He's also very vain and takes blows to his pride very hard.
Tyki knows his close friends and is loyal to them, but when in a fit of rage or jealousy he can lash out and hurt them badly. In his wilder moments his normally perfect impulse control goes to hell and he can act very recklessly.
