For me, it was The Song Remains the Same that made me go, "Oh yeah, they're definitely boning." Or, you know, the Angelic equivalent. >.>

I always thought that Lucifer would top in this pairing as well (where for some reason I see him as the bottom in Sam/Lucifer, weird) so I wanted to make it apparent that it was a big deal for him in this piece, letting Michael hold him down.
