Just very quickly, let me seriously recommend "So We go Round the Sun" by teahigh (Sherlock/John, John/Mary, R/NC-17).

If you're looking for ficly happiness, I don't recommend it, but if you're looking for fic with genuine emotions, for people stumbling and messing up and trying to put things right but just failing, for people finding each other

Oh damn, haha! There's one line that's repeated a few times, "If we don't live together, we're going to die alone", so it kind of becomes a mantra on the show: Live together, die alone. I think the main character said it in the first episode, but it was the title of another episode um in... s2? I think?

I've seen the setlock pics that featured the Big Main Thing before I quit tumblr to avoid further spoilerage, so this wasn't spoily to me (though I jumped into it all ready to be spoiled just so I could read this, no joke), but yes, it's good to be reminded that it might be very spoilery to others.

I can't get over how much I adored that fic. O.o; I got sucked in from the start and it wouldn't let me go until I finished it - and lately I've been very airheaded and easily distracted, so keeping me focused on one thing for so long is quite a feat. *grin!*

I read it last night, finished it, then immediately read the whole thing all over again as once was not enough. It's gut wrenchingly perfect! Also made me curious as to what exactly she saw in Setlock... Still won't look though, but it didn't spoil things for another spoiler avoider!
