Question for everyone - what do you believe that dreams mean? I have heard various responses in my life such as its the devils way of tempting your mind ( more religious people have said that to me than anybody ), or dreams are things that you want to happen but never will. Then I have heard they are an indicator of whats to come. I dont know - I

My dreams tend to come true for the most part...which is strange. like one dream I had was almost a sex dream about this guy that I don't EVEN like, like that. turns out HE likes me like that and it's kinda odd, cuz I would have never guessed... THEN I had this dream that Topor worked at Merrill Lynch and came over to my house to have dinner with us....well Topor works at Merril Lynch now, the other half of my dream has yet to come true and if it did that would ROCK because I want to know if he can play Hockey on the Xbox just as well as he can in REAL LIFE! hehehe

then I had this dream that I was hanging out with a good friend in high school and we were having a blast. In real life, we got in a huge fight and we hadn't talked in like 3 years or so... then in real life I hung out with her and everything was all good.

It's mostly if I dream about a person, of if someone makes a Cameo in one of my dreams, I'll see them in REAL LIFE later on....I'm like Raven or something AHAHHAHA ;-)

Influence from something you have seen/heard, premonition, acting out of subconscience. I think dreams come from all of these things.

Dreams are controlled by your subconscious mind. They can mean many things, fears, hopes, desires, or as said above can simply be influenced by something seen or heard, or premonitions. Often times the objects or people in a dream are representatives of something else entirely. For instance, a person that you admire and look up to being present in your dream could represent your good sense and reason, because in the conscious world you believe them to be reasonable and have good sense. Simple things like that. Your dreams that you described could mean a variety of things and off the little information I have, I wouldn't be able to really give you much info. Besides which, I'm not yet confident in my ability to anaylze because I haven't had enough training in my psychology classes yet and have only had very basic study so far. =)
