Anime Expooo
So I just got back a few hours ago.
Thursday
-wore Sweet Snake Raiden
-shoes broke immediately so I spent most of the day barefoot until I repaired them
-ran into Carla and Liza (I hope I'm spelling your name right!). Liza made such a sexy Poison hnnngh
-discovered the incredibly horrible method of peace bonding: neon yellow zip ties with foot-long tails that you weren't allowed to clip or hide.
-did a photo shoot with Eric, Abbot, and the con yearbook team
-found Jill in Sweet Snake
-went to the MGS4 gathering and got interviewed by Konami again!
-saw Indra, Ken, and Al at the gathering looking awesome, as well as a really awesome Meryl whose name I can't remember.
-found Hatsuu in Sweet Ocelot and HNNNNNG'd myself to death. She's so cute!
-did a photoshoot with the other Sweets with Ken as the photographer.
-found myself in a men's bathroom again. New AX tradition?
-SHIVA BIKES HOLY SHIT
-did a shoot with the Sweets with Shiroin as the photographer
-had dinner with everyone at Denny's and saw Carla and Liza there too!
-went to bed early like the old man I am
Friday
-helped Trevor get into black face and helped a tiny bit finishing his costume
-wore Cammy
-Had really poorly done hair because I forgot my styling stuff
-wore pin on the wrong side
-wore camo pantyhose backwards
-what the fuck how did I put this costume on so bad
-met Jen, Wes...well I could go on, but I saw so many SF cosplay friends there. Hooray!
-changed into Selvaria with the gun
-took photos with Test Type (whom I haven't seen for a year!) and Kenji
-dragged everything up to the room by myself in high heels, and when I got there no one was at the room. But thank you random stranger Andy who helped my a little part of the way :'D
-made pasta for dinner in the room
-went up the photographer party room, got pretty tipsy, and then to Club Nokia
-MUSTACHE PARTY
Saturday
-wore Selvaria with the lance and shield
-throughout the day, got help from Ken, Rob, Becka, Miguel, Tim, and Andrew to carry my crazy props
-saw Hatsuu's adorableness
-MY ARMS, THEY HURT
-went to cosplay contest judging
-didn't win, but Kyle wants to do a shoot with me woo
-took a nap and didn't get up in time to cosplay at the VC gathering
-got back into costume and did a shoot with Abbott, Raul, and Eric
-met Jia, Maridah, and Heidi, all of whom I really admire
-went to the Yardhouse with friends and had some fuckwin enchilada stack thing but froze the entire way through. Met a nice chick named Auriole
-went back to the photographer party room and had more drinks
Sunday
-got into Felicia
-went with Stef to do a Darkstalkers photoshoot
-promptly had costume ruined thanks to leg band falling the dirt and rubbing off on the rest of my costume. It's retired now lol
-changed into whatever clothes I could easily dig out of the car: hot pink shorts and light pink shirt
-still got asked for photos
-got called Summer Vacation Barbie lolwut
-said goodbyes
-had dinner with friends at the Yardhouse again. Got enchiladas but tried the mac n cheese. Amazing!
-happy face tomatillo
-got home in time to watch fireworks from the backyard
I also ran into this freaking adorable Naruto cosplayer. She was so streotypically 'cute Japanese' I almost wonder if it was put on. Either way, adorable!
I haven't posted photos yet from Fanime. I see mass photo post coming to your LJ flist in the near future....
