Your permission is appreciated, but I find it difficult to leave with the transporters down. If you need me gone, though, I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding my way around. Or maybe I'll feel adventurous and see where I end up.

I wouldn't mind. It would be appreciated, seeing as how the technology is rather foreign to me.

Are you worried about Sol?

If you do decide to travel out-of-world at the time, Commander, I recommend caution. It seems Cpt. Kobayashi--and perhaps others who were not so fortunate as to have private vessels--had been deposited in outer space. It's not impossible that you might end up somewhere similarly unpleasant.
