Ah, I could have sworn she had told me she will. It's a very long story. Her friends have a Syndrome that she calls "Hinamizawa" -- Did you know of the paranoid and unstable mental state her friend, Rena, used to live through? That is the syndrome in action.

Oh, I know about the syndrome. What I don't know is what you can do about it. Though I recall she did mention you might have a cure.

Alright, then. We don't know exactly if there is a chance for cure, this could very well be an incurable Syndrome, but there is a high possibility to elaborate a suppressant to the symptoms her friends suffer.

Because of this I need Rika's blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples and to acquire the latter I must perform a lumbar puncture to the dear. This is why I am asking your permission. The procedure is rarely risky when well performed; the most common complication is a headache that easily passes with a good analgesic, however it was my suggestion to Rika to ask permission first.
