I hope the Deities wouldn't do something like that again.

The curse or the zombies? We don't know if they were behind the latter, Chrono.

The zombies. If the Deities weren't, who was?

I suspect that they don't control everything. The virus must have slipped under their watch. We were invaded once by beings who opposed the deities and there was a war until the deities stood up to defeat the creatures who arrived to attack the City.

So am I. Chrono and Aion are probably the only people who'd be able to metabolize my Legion. Anyone else would be praying to the porcelain gods.

Neither were cursed from what I could tell. That could have been perturbing.

I'm glad. Chrono would have been devastated.

Were you okay as well? I didn't see you at all during the curse.

It would make little difference.

I wasn't affected by the curse, Shader. I was readying the ward we built for zombie cases upstairs. If the curse would have expanded for a few days, we would have employed it.

I didn't eat anyone, but I was bitten several times. It appears I was healed after the curse was over, but is there anything I should be tested for regardless?

It depends if you have an average immune system. But bites from someone infected, fluid exchanges through blood could be dangerous.

Wonderful. I'll get tested the next time I come in for a consult.

There was one last December, wasn't there?

Not in form of a curse, but a virus. "Zombies AIDs" as Doctor House charmingly labeled it.

I've read about AIDS before. Quite original of him. A virus that slowly deteriorates the body from the inside, heh. Truly interesting.

"Necroflu" was a runner-up for the name. Are you interested in medicine now, Aion?
