Favorite book. Hands down. The epilogue was super cheese ball, but I respect that Jo had to make Harry older and with family and such so no one can really write super intriguing stories about him anymore...there's always his kiddies though. BUT HE'S NOT DEAD! I knew she wouldn't-really had me fooled though, the page is still a little wet. I have to read that part again, it was QUITE confusing; but he came back, and it was BAD ASSSSSS! Speaking of bad ass, NEVILLE? Oh man, that guy has become one of my favorites..Hagrid didn't die? I thought he was a total goner. But Fred...oh god. That must've been the one Jo's hubby told her not to kill. Remus, knew it was gonna happen; Tonks was always a possibility. But they had a kid! So everything changed...except now I know that he's kickin it with the potters...anyway, RON IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE CHARACTER, EVER. That guy was so awesome and loyal and he proved himself over and over again in this book. And he was funny, to boot. The way him and Hermione got together was perfect. It was obviously not a suprise, they'd sort of been together the whole book, but it really sealed it when they kissed. And Kreacher was the shit! I laughed when he started cleaning, haha. God, everything that happened in that book felt like it happened over months and months. I would be suprised when it was spring already, but I realized that so much shit had happened, and I was already forgetting. Mad eye dying, the ministry, the malfoy manor, them travelling for months and months, Godric's Hollow, Xenophilius, Shell Cottage, HOLY CRAP. SO MUCH. And, it's funny...I didn't miss them going to Hogwarts. I mean, it's nice and cozy and such when they're there, but all the characters were present in the book...so I didn't find myself missing it. If harry had been out and about on his own however, I would have pulled my hair out. I'm glad they didn't sap-ify everything with Ginny, too. Ack, I just have to start reading it all over again. Oh MY GOD, favorite moment: Molly killing Bella. GET AWAY FROM MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH! Oh, and that weird Elder wand thing was CRAZY. Draco? ahhhh. I knew that kid was just a stupid pansy. Narcissa though, way to go. Even if it was self gain. It was pretty crazy that Dumbledore was obsessed with those Hallows. He seemed way more human at the end of the book, during his final cono with harry.
GUYS, SNAPE? Oh man, I KNEW it. But him loving Lily? That was brilliant. He really really REALLY loved her, and that's why Harry's eyes were important I guess. They connected Snape to the reason he chose the good side in the first place. And how he said look in to my eyes...oh god, that was crazy. I can't even begin to remember what else happened...ack, it was SO GOOD. And whoever says it didn't really have a plot is stupid; of course it did. All the crap that was happening to them was spur of the moment, crazy, freaky, whatever. But everyone who was reading it knew the main goal: Kill Voldemort, obviously. The Hallows were a distraction, but in the end, they were important. Anyway, I loved the whole entire book and I am going to go read it again.
I'm bubbling over with feelings! Someone call me!
EDIT: Oh yeah, Petunia wanting to go to Hogwarts? Woahs. And Dudley...that was pretty cool of him. Also, that Bathilda opening like a pez dispenser? What? That was pretty crazy. AND it was so awesome at the final battle when everyone and everything attacked voldemort and the death eaters. Pretty awesome image. I just so glad that a. snape wasn't evil b. Harry didn't die and c. ron and hermione finally got together.I thought it was dumb sounding that Harry had a kid named Albus Severus Potter. Whom they called Al. ...
