Hey some time ago you mentioned a program for making notes and outlines for papers... do you remember what that was? Thanks.

Hmmm. The two possibilities I can think of are Scrivener (Mac only), which is a nifty word processing program that has storyboarding and notes and other neat features, and Evernote, which I use to keep track of miscellaneous bits of information, passwords, etc.
