Biography:
Sungjong is the eldest son of a rich, business driven family. We know what you're thinking; spoiled brat, mama's boy, lazy heir, playboy… but you couldn't be farther from the truth. Sungjong's parents raised their children in a very strict environment -never handing out gifts that weren't earned and pushing them to greatness in everything they undertook. The Lees, owners of a shopping mall chain, even decided to have their sons compete amongst themselves for positions in their company, instead of just handing them out arbitrarily. This worked out perfectly for Sungjong, who never had any desire to work for his parents.
It was always obvious that the young man was different from his brothers. Although he shared their drive for success and their hardworking character, he was never interested in numbers and, least of all, in shopping mall management. Even physically, Sungjong was different. Taking more after his mother than his father, he inherited her very delicate (read pretty) features, a thin frame and an almost unnatural gracefulness. In high school, his brothers branched out in business, but Sungjong chose to enroll in an arts program. His parents, while slightly disappointed, supported his choice. It helped that the teenager was a straight A student.
It was during those few years that Sungjong met his first love, piano, and then his second, fashion. Deciding that the latter was a more realistic option, he decided to join Yonsei's fashion department with the goal of starting his own line. In his first year, he chose to pledge to Alpha Gamma Rho at the recommendation of his father, who believed that the environment would foster his son's creativity and drive.
Personality:
Sungjong often surprises with his character. People assume that because his manners and appearance are slightly feminine, he has a submissive personality. On the contrary, Sungjong is very strong minded and confident, both in his looks and capabilities. He is smart, sometimes calculating and even a bit sneaky. Sungjong knows he is good at acting cute, at pretending to be innocent, and likes to use this to his advantage. This is not to say that it is all an act -he doesn't mind giving a bit of aegyo to his elders now and then and can be extremely social when the mood is right.
