Notebook does not have space for built-in optical or floppy-disk drives, but instead provides communication ports so that an external drive can be connected, so usually it's lighter. While a netbook is almost similar to notebook, except that the screen and keyboard are smaller in size, and the general configuration is more for normal usage and internet surfing, not for hardcore gaming purpose ( ... )

Err my mind almost went blank as I read further down...

Okay I am actually keen in a Mac, but they only have the notebook not a laptop right?

Can I say a netbook is like Ipad? By CPU you are referring to those desktop computers right? Nah I need a portable to carry around. I don't actually play games except some online ones, and I watch animes and movies and other visuals, so is a graphic card still relevant?
