so i have an apartment in nyc for June until at least January! Lydia has invited me to live with her and Andy until they go abroad next spring. so i will be living on 6th St. between 3rd and 2nd Ave. for only 800$ a month, and i will have my own room (i think). i was walking down Calle Fuencarral the other day and i noticed that they had finished the construction work in the VIPS restaurant/store. what they had constructed was a Starbucks right next to the VIPS.

now, there are other Starbucks in Madrid, but not that many (maybe two), and now they are growing in numbers
