(I know you all miss me imposing my musical taste on the rest of the world.) I don't know that this one flows very well, I basically just threw together 27 songs I've been listening to lately, or that struck my fancy, and then cut

Hurray for writing! You should write a book about... a person who cannot feel emotions exploring the world through interesting discourses with random street people... or something :p I have no ideas right now. My brain is an empty seive.

The hardest part was trying to make sure that I wasn't copying anything... and I think that parts of this idea were still inspired by an idea of Hilaire's...

So I guess I probably shouldn't really be taking full credit for it. And I guess the being incapable of emotions was probably inspired by Garden State...

But in my head, my idea is somewhat distinct because the lack of emotions is 'natural' (i.e. in-born, not caused by medication, though maybe by early-childhood trauma?) Maybe add amnesia into the mix?

In any case, I think it would be somewhat interesting to attempt to write a story from the point of view of someone who is certifiably insane. But not super crazy... the weird, subtle, nigh-undiagnosable type crazy... Just a slight skew on their view of the world. Maybe just because sometimes that's how I think I might be...
