1. How did you get into blogging?
2. If your house was on fire, which one, non-living thing, would you run back to get? (other than a computer)
3. Why did you decide to friend me ;)? Not fishing for compliment, genuinely want to know.

Hehehe, and I sent her the trailer for "Machinist" at night once and she got mad at me, but it also made her want to see it! *grin*
And House of Leaves is SO cool!

The Machinist was like a mix of Fight Club and Memento. And you should go see Memento like now! No excuses :)
And wow, you actually read HoL? You're like the first person I've ever met who read it. I couldn't sleep for a week after i read it. Kept thinking my walls were expanding.

Hahaha, yeah, House of Leaves was so crazy! All those crazy footnotes and stuff! My friend owns it, so I borrowed it from him and read it, it was so crazy! I even read all the appendices and everything... that part with the letters from his mom was really weird! And that one letter where you make the real letter by only reading the first letter of each word made my head hurt because I did it in my head!
Oooo... well maybe I will make sure that the next movie that I rent is Memento! Unless... you own it and live in the same country as me perhaps? And could... lend it to Val to lend to me? o.O Mayhaps?

Questions
1. if you could turn invisible... what would you do/where would you go?
2. if you had to spend 4 months with only 3 people, isolated from the outside world. who would you bring with you and why? (geniune answers... so if i am not on the list i wont be upset so dont worry about that lol)
3. if you could be anyone for a day who would it be and why?

And, your questions are SUPER-HARD, so I have to think some more.
Reply
1. it's hard to say. generally, i either feel invisible, or like to pretend that no one can see me. is this a temporary, at-will type super-power invisibility? because that's sort of neat, though i have no idea what i would use it for. i don't really ahve a great desire to be invisible, i guess...
2. that's an INSANE question. because, not only do i have to think about how i interact with these people....i have to think about how they would interact with one another....it's a tricky thing. y'know....i have no idea. i could give you three people who i think i could spend four months alone with....but....not three people who i think could co-exist for four months....
3. no one. as much as i dislike being me a whole lot of the time....i don't really think i would want to be anyone else.....
i just realized that i didn't really answer your questions at all, even though i tried. i've come to the conclusion that your question just don't have answers....

The Polar Express. And yes, it has to be in IMAX. I realize that it's more expensive. But worth it. On video, for amusingness, Dungeons and Dragons, just to figure out what came from other stories. You have to be slightly sleep-deprived and with people who will be excited about it.
She's Come Undone by... I don't remember who. I've got a copy around here somewhere. Or Richard Bach's Illusions which I've also got a copy of around here somewhere.
Uhm... Apocalyptica

1. Where would you most like to be in the entire world?
2. What's the meaning of life the universe and everything?
3. Why green?

She's Come Undone is by Wally Lamb. You should check out his other book I Know This Much is True....it's super-long, but really good. I'm intrigued by this other book you mention though....so....once I'm done this book that Lucas leant to me, and Survivor then I'll totally be up for borrowing it ( ... )

ii. how many times have you been fishing? how many fish do you catch on average?
iii. when was the first time you remember concisely deciding to do something mean?

1.) "The Tenth Kingdom." It was a made-for-TV movie, about 6 hours long, but totally awesome if you love fairy tales. If not that, then "The Increadibles." And "Labyrinth."
2.) "The Last Unicorn" by Peter S. Beagle. I can't believe they are making a live-action version! SO excited.
3.) Anything by Josh Groban. He sings the song "Believe" from "The Polar Express". ;) I didn't like that movie the first time I saw it (downloaded it), but after a second watching I generally like it. The animation freaks me out a bit, but the story is so cute! Sarah Brightman is also awesome, of the same genre.
