so i need a Analog cable to work on the HDTV unit?

assuming that's a VGA slot you have on your tv, all you need is a cable/adapter to go from DVI to VGA (make sure you get your female/male ends correct). i'm not sure what you mean by an analog cable, but i'm pretty sure a cable that meets your connection specifications will work just fine. besides, the average price looks to be around only $20 or so.

I know my GeForce 5200 Ultra came with an adapter, so they shouldn't be too difficult to find.
