Usually I decide on a cat name before we get the cat, and generally (well, two out of three times so far) the name really suits the cat. Hermes did get called Horatio for two days until I decided that he wasn't clever enough to be a Horatio

How lovely! I look forward to meeting her. The OB has a deformed iris too, though it doesn't seem to affect her at all.

Its good to hear that the oB is fine with it- I was a bit concerned about taking on a cat with issues, but we also thought that we were good people to look after a cat with possible issues (she obviously has ok eyesight).

Hey, we can meet the OB soon too!
