My snagglepuss used to like sleeping inside suitcases and in dresser drawers. B-cat does a similar thing - he likes getting into the wardrobe to sleep, either that or makes a beeline for any clean clothing I have foolishly left on the ironing board or in the ironing basket to have a snooze on...

My kitty hides in wardrobes or cupboards if it's raining or there's a thunderstorm. He doesn't sleep on the clothes though. Hasn't shredded any sanitary pads yet, just sewing patterns.
