We're about to start trying to train the cats to use the human toilet. Already we can tell which one is going to be the A student, and which one will be the D student. Isis sat watching the training DVD, paying attention to the cats on the DVD. Hermes wandered off and then fell asleep.....

Just wanted to say we're trying to human-toilet train the new kitten, and he was fascinated by the cats on the DVD too.

I should mention that although I managed to train both cats to pee down the toilet, neither ever managed to poop down the toilet. We gave up, and JB built a caged run that they get to through a window.

We are a very strange kitten - we happily poop in the toilet, but pee in the litter. It might just be that his aim is off. Personally I'm just amazed he hasn't fallen into the toilet.

Yes, JB looked at it and he thought that there was some symbolism involved, like a seneschal's key or something. Now I have a key for the Singer case!
