Yep, I just used the doughnut dough, rolled some of the circles into wider, flatter ones, and filled them with strawberry jam. Then I folded them over like empanadas, sealed with fork tines, and fried them like I did the doughnuts.

The recipe is on my blog, if you want to check it out. They weren't hard at all to make... just a bit on the time-consuming side!
