I found out today that my good friend and mentor passed away on Saturday. I was out of touch for the weekend. She was a grandmother to me and I know I will miss her for the rest of my life on Earth.

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. When I heard my first boss died I cried all day. I still catch myself thinking "I have to show Lawrence that" all the time and it still makes me tear up. But then I remind myself that he's probably having a blast in heaven, and it helps.
