got new trail running shoes in the mails today. and, yes, i immediately tried them out. not too bad. fit was good, save for a hotspot on my left heel. the skies opened up a few miles from home, but it was nice running in the cool rain.

i drank a litre of cola today. luckily nobody spit in it.

got the new montrail nitrus. i like them, but i have to get physically used to them since they are new and much different than the asics i usually wear. the backs of my heels are still pretty raw since i run without socks.

do you run as well?

i just kinda got off the whole socks thing. except for at work, i have not worn socks in over a year. and since i do lots of cycling and running, thems is a lot of sockless miles.

headed out to texas in the morning. want a postcard? of course you do, so gimme yo' address. i have one for you, but do not know how recent it is.

i think i would just get into trouble if i worked in a shop that dealt in stuff i was into. paychecks just would not exist. how do you like it?
