My course is officialy awesome. One of my potential dissertation topics: the portrayal of witches in the media and whether they portray a feminist or post feminist attitude. Uuuhm, that would require researching Charmed, Wicked, Harry Potter, Buffy... hell yesssss.

In that case, I have the perfect book for you to have a look at.
It's called "Investigating Charmed: The Magic Power of TV", edited by Karin Beeler and Stan Beeler.
The sections are divided thus:
Witchcraft, Wicca, Magic and the Community
Feminist Power
Visual Power, Place and Genre
The publisher is I.B. Tauris.
They made a couple of errors in the description of Charmed, but you should be able to spot them. If you're not sure, just check with your friendly neighbourhood Charmedologist (i.e. me)

Also, on a side note, is Hermione classed as a witch then, yeah? I know, kind of a stupid question but I never really thought about it until now. Wizards can be girls too, can't they? They are on that cheesy Disney channel show...Anywho, thought i'd ask you 'cause you're a HP buff :P =]
