got the last harry potter book yesterday at 1 pm, and just finished it, roughly 16.5 hours later, though at least 6 of those hours i wasn't paying attention ( Read more... )

I haven`t even read it and don`t plan to, but wtf JKR. Why must you kill all my favorite characters, honestly. Now I really won`t ever finish them.

I think she kills some people just to be "dark." Percy should've died, honestly. It would've been all poetic and whatnot - oh, he finally sees the truth - whoops, he's dead. George's eaaaaar...Freeeeed. But aha. Aha. Suck it, Harmonians.

And Harry didn't die. Well, he sort of did. But not really. The hell. I only cared about Ron/Hermione and Remus and them...

Dramatic kiss whilst the battle is going on, and in the "19 Years Later" bit they have kids. As do Harry/Ginny. Of course.

i liked dumbledore as the almighty symbol of goodness though. it hurt hearing that he was for 'the greater good'. poor severus though. i knew he was good! it's just a shame that severus still died. yay for Albus Severus! good book, i'm thinking about rereading it. poor lupin/tonks, but i find it interesting that harry : teddy, as sirius : harry :P

bummer how fred dies. and mad eye. mad eye was a beast in OotP.
