I don't understand why almost every man I've met, dated, been romantic with--equates love with physicality...or sex, or whatever! I love just for love's sake....arghh
It's likely a combination of being hard-wired that way and cultural influences. Regardless of the cultural evolution we've experienced over the past century, or perhaps because of it, sex and love have become inextricably linked.
Wouldn't you feel betrayed in the arena of love if your boyfriend/husband slept with another woman? If so, there's at least an ounce of you that links the two. Otherwise, you would see love as love and sex as just sex.
That being said, I've been deeply in love and not been able to express it physically. In fact, when I'm REALLY in love, I sometimes have sexual issues because I feel so protective of the woman that I can't bear to enter her. That's a whole different story.
hey! it was really good seeing you last night. friday we actually escaped to tranzylvania, was hoping we'd see you there...but anyhoo. you should come by for lunch some time..I'm very proud of our new menu. and don't be a stranger.
