What did they say about the micro stuff? I read somewhere it isn't good for people who get redness or acne because it can irritate it even more!?!? :(

Aveda had a really gentle exfoliating facial called Termaline or something like that. I had it done at the Carsten Institute. The micro dermabrasion facials are good for smoothing out the texture of the skin but I wouldn't recommend it if you have severe acne. It's more for scars and fine lines. Any type of harsh scrubs or exfoliators can spread or worsen breakouts. It's much better to wait for the skin to heal, from what I've learn in my skin care line.

Hrm, they probably using Tourmaline I'm guessing... cool. They came out with some of those products when I still worked for them. I used to get free facials and massages from them all the time...not no more :(

Yeah, my skin sucks. The acne has cleared up A LOT, but I still have that weird redness on my cheeks where the pores look all huge. I get a lot of redness in my face so I'm afraid that the microdermabrasion will make it worse. :(

I do have scars and fine lines though...oh well, I hope I find out what I can do to fix it!

Did you cut your hair or change the color? I'm thinking of doing so myself...
