Following the long-held Clardy tradition of falling on one's ass, I managed to fall Saturday morning. But, wanting to put my own spin on it, apparently, I did not fall on my ass.

I fell on my face.

Every morning, I get up pre-dawn crack and walk 3 miles on the Pinellas Trail a stretch of which is conveniently about a block from the house. ( Read more... )

Oh, man, poor hurty you! I'm glad it wasn't even worse, but I bet you'll end up with one heck of a black eye. Could fit in quite nicely with your story, though.

That was quite a spill! But you told us all about it, so that's cool. As far as anyone knows, I've never taken a misstep or faceplanted in the middle of an intersection.

And my hats off to you for the outside exercise. I've been inside for like the last 72 hours.

Oi! That looks extremely ouchy.
