the stadium was filled with spectators. all sporting red jerseys. and id bet 99% of it is all for liverpool. the defeat of 5 nil is just pathetic. especially considering that thailand and malaysia played better, much better than spore. at least they scored a goal or two. spore hardly even got near the goal.

I would hardly consider myself a football fan but even I could see the massive disparity between how Singapore played and how Liverpool played. Singapore deserved the 5-0 thrashing, I don't see why Liverpool should refrain from scoring out of "courtesy". Like you said, 99% of those in attendance probably paid the $88 to see their favourite team play their best. If that means Singapore comes out of it looking awful, then so be it. Haha
