They're here to remind us of something.

Mistakes? Lessons learned?

[Frowning in thought. Sentimentality has never been her strong point.]

Mostly, yes.

[Usually wounds would heal and leave no scar on Raven's skin. Yet since she's gone to the Inner City and has met some of the Animus, there's a small burn mark on her shoulder blade that refuses to vanish, as a reminder.]

I don't believe we've met before, have we?

Not of my memory.

Alexia Tarabotti. A pleasure.

[Though her features are a bit severe, there's a hint of some kindness in the curve of her mouth, where it's not a biting humor.]

... I don't believe anyone looks at them negatively. I certainly have enough of them...

You have?

[She's still having a bit of trouble seeing Negi as a young man, so this is a bit startling.]

W-well, yes!

[He'll show her all of the appropriate ones - the scar on his throat from when he'd died, the obvious mark of sharp, human-shaped teeth on the muscle at the nape of his neck. The faded one on his cheek, the slash mark on his upper right arm that's almost equally as faded. And the tops of three long, pink slash marks down his chest. Those are fresh.]

Negi dear, have you made a career of looking for things made entirely of teeth and claws?

[Because that is an impressive collection.]

Lots of people get upset when you show them, and they make you think of bad things. So, it's better to hide them.

What do you mean, 'think of bad things'?

[She tilts her head, keen to listen.]

Like remembering about how you got hurt. Those aren't good memories, right?

[She fidgets a bit, unsure.]

I suppose if the circumstances were particularly upsetting, it may be viewed that way.

[Oh, she'd never impose. But that would be lovely.]

How did he manage that, I wonder?

None in particular, though sometimes they come with interesting stories.

Have you any?

I've got a couple m'self. None that are very appropriate to show over the network.

[Especially when he knows that Roy sometimes snoops on his conversations.]

Oh.

Yes -- well then.

Are the stories appropriate to share over the network?
