i've failed to get my spn_cinema fic finished by my posting date, which was today. i thought i'd be able to squeeze it in but with my BB posting on day two (oh my goodness - bone-shaking terror!), there's just no way. i may still try to post on the last free for all date. hopefully. i would prefer to not miss out, as this challenge will forever be near and

oh good, i'm not alone then! i feel so awful about it. i never miss my cinema date. but then, i've also never done BB. it's a whole new world for me, here. 2nd day, yep. terrified, but also sort of relieved. i can just kick back and read all of the other BBs leisurely haha. good luck with yours as well, what day do you go?

Ahhh, my first time doing BB too. I'm despairing at the state of my fic, but I have till July 28.

PS: the video just showed, squeee! I actually really liked that movie despite its divergence from the book.

oh my gosh. that vid. jack Nicholson in the shining. just amazing. I remember the first time I watched it and I was around 15, I had to small screen it on my laptop I was so frightened. dear cinema today: please take back your special effects and give me actors like him in my horror films any day. so much love ♥

agreed. love the film. it's a shame so many of the book fans didn't take kindly to it. i always like to go into film adaptions thinking of them as entirely separate pieces from their book counterparts. and luckily, i adore both the book and the film in this case.

ugh bigbang. bigbang. haven't even looked at my draft since i submitted it, sent it to my artist with an apology for the state of my brain. very, VERY excited for yours, however! right on board with jack-o, and you, and have always thought that fannish folk need to set up a commune during bb season, wherein writers, artists, betas and cheerleaders pile in for a period of months, shut off from the real world and quietly bring each other coffee and junk food until deadlines are met and the storm has passed, and at the end, throw one fucker of a party.
