I am ashamed to say I was terrified when I started to read this. I was so unsure where you were going to go with this, but I marched on.
AND IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER.
So soaringly lonely and sad and sweet and hopeful and wonderful. I cried mid way when Elmer died, the idea if Jensen hadn't come along, of Jared like a little engine that could marching on, all alone like a good soldier.
Ughh.
And Jensen, so unassuming, just wanting out from under the weight of it all, dancing in the rain. And their two hands sliding together like his dad and mom's.
