That is about all I know of Christmas myself--I do not celebrate it as other people do.

Though I certainly feel your frustration about determining the dates of celebrations otherwise. The Jewish holidays never fall on the same day each year, either. Luckily, I already know when Chanukkah falls this year.

Christmas is a holiday based in the Christian religion, that has become more popular with others over the years.

I am Jewish, which is another religion. We celebrate Chanukkah, the festival of lights. It lasts for eight days, and celebrates a historical event--the oil in the menorah of the Temple lasting for eight days after it was desecrated.
