Persona 4 is pretty much the same, sadly. It really paled in comparison to 3.

It depends on what you're looking for. It was a fun game, and the story had some other gaping holes. I don't regret playing it necessarily, so really, your mileage may vary. :D If you've liked the game, stick with it, but if you haven't, you probably won't change your mind as you play further.
