A less than stellar review of Kick-Ass

I watched Kick-Ass yesterday, and I went into it not really expecting to like it. However, the reasons I ended up hating it were not what I was originally expecting.

I'm glad I've decided to wait until this hits the dollar theater... a lot of people have said it's terrible, but a lot of people have been like OMG IT ROCCCKKSS. Then again, I tried reading the comic and just... couldn't really get into it. I was just like :| and went back to reading Batgirl.

Yeah, it seems to be a love it or hate it movie. There's very little middle ground.

I've heard it deviates from the comic. But mostly in areas where only fanboys would care about. So yeah, if you weren't that into the comic, you might not be that into the movie.

Movies like this seem to justify my reluctance to see any movie that's not animated or at least two decades old and still popular.
