General Warning: Incest. If you're uncomfortable with brother-sex, don't read these. Obviously. All of these recs focus on Don/Charlie, and range from pre-slash to NC-17, so you've been warned.

<3 by dsudis* aka Dira Sudis
Rating: PG
Summary: "I've got a math question for you," Don says.
their love is fluffy, and less-than-three is adorable.

Dumbstruck
Rating: NC-17
Summary: Don had never suspected Charlie of faking it.
I love this idea, and Dira Sudis really pulls it off.

What Happens in Vegas
Rating: NC-17
Summary: If there were a twelve-step program for fucking your brother, he should at least want to lock himself in the bathroom and call it right about now.

(okay, just read all of her fic. everything is excellent, and neither character is overwhelmed by angst, which is a nice change from most brothersex)

Coping Skills by perpet_fic* aka Perpetual Motion
Rating: PG
Summary: Don, Charlie, and memories. Set mid-ep for "Uncertainty Principle".
Charlie, at the funeral, extra-fine Sharpie in one hand, equations written up to his elbow on his other arm. He runs out of room and looks terribly lost. Don holds out his arm without even thinking.

Mathematical Madness
Rating: PG
Summary: Even Charlie can deal with numbers too much.
As soon as the door clangs shut behind them, Don pins Charlie to it and kisses him hard. “47x86?” He asks when he breaks away.

“4042. It goes into the number two, 2021 times, which goes into the number three-“ Charlie is cut off when Don kisses him again.

(Perpetual Motion has far more Larry/Charlie fic, which is equally impressive)

Parallel Connections Over Symmetric Spaces by vigorlijah aka Dale Edmonds
Rating: NC-17
Summary: And then he nods or something, and god, he's tired, groggy because he's been catnapping instead of really sleeping, and Don's got his arm around Charlie's shoulder, and Charlie's always going to be smaller, the little brother. But when he leans in a little, and Don shifts his arm so Charlie's head fits just there and Don's hand squeezes his shoulder and Don still smells like Don, laundered-shirts and starch, Charlie never wants to grow up.

He wants to be seventeen again. He wants them to go back to -

And this is something Charlie's never been able to solve. To just before, or just after.

So, Parallel Connections is this fandom's Big Damn Epic, and wow. the plot is intricate and dense and gorgeous, and the angst is bitter and heartbreaking. It's huge, so set aside a good chunk of time for reading.

Lollipop
Rating: PG
Summary: "You're - is that a lollipop?"
short, sweet, yay.

Boundaries by fluffyllama*
Rating: PG
Summary: Prompt #28, Children
Charlie wasn't sure exactly when it had happened, but at some point between him waking up on Saturday morning in Don's bed and returning from the library that same evening, Don's bedroom door had acquired a lock.

Here's the Don/Charlie fanfic100 Table she's doing as llama100, yay. They're all good.

Newton's Third by i_am_badger
Rating: PG-13 Charlie/OMC, Charlie/Don pre-slash
Warnings: despite the rating, there's a graphic, disturbing crime involved
Summary: When there exists a force acting on a body A, due to another body B, there exists also a reciprocal force, acting on body B, due to the existence of body A. Newton's Third Law : Law of Reciprocal Actions

Bittersweet by flawed_karma
Rating: PG
Summary: Geniuses don't come with how-to instructions.

This: A Distillation of Years and Connections by raeyashi*
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Everything that they ever wanted, companionship and understanding and alink with another is found here in the arms they wrap around each other, the lips that they brush, and the bodies that fit so well.

Variations on a Theme
Rating: R
Summary: Ten drabbles, ten situations, ten reflections.

The Five Stages
Rating: NC-17
Summary: It takes five stages to create a beginning.
You've never wanted this, this feeling of euphoria that you are riding long, hard, and high.

(so clearly, I love everything raeyashi writes.)

Signal to Noise by wrenscribbles
Rating: PG
Summary: Sometimes, the more he talks the less he says.

Close to Perfect by ceares
Rating: R (veryvery light R)
Summary: He hated when he was in this mood. Just-sometimes he needed extra reassurance that Don wasn't going to abandon this. Abandon him, for something that fit the world's definition of normal.
long live the schmoop.

The Hidden Costs by sori1773
Rating: R
Summary: He knows without asking that Charlie will come back here tonight. He won’t tell their father where he’s going or what he’s doing. He’ll just leave the house with a wave and a smile.

Afternoon Cartoons
Rating: Gen
Summary: Baseballs, teasing and cartoons. After all, boys will be boys.
..and that's the first half of my 'to rec' list. this fandom isn't nearly as small as I'd expected. yay!
