ambition makes you look pretty ugly

Dear idiotic Amazon leeches,

The fact that you have a new-ish copy of an out of print book does not mean that you can sell a comic that is 96 pages long for 75 dollars.

Nor can you charge 63 or 38 dollars for a used copy.

What the hell is wrong with you people?

Love,

Blair

oh god

still, though, that's almost more reasonable -- sam and max was published in '95, and is a little more obscure than a book dc published '01.

i still do not understand how these people's hearts can be apparently completely consumed by hatred and money-grubbing.

yeah, i have the same problem with "wolverine: snikt", which i would buy a paperback of sight unseen but it's like £65 on amazon.co.uk, which is ridiculous

on the plus side though, i sold the individual issues to a guy in austria over ebay recently for £30, which was pretty great

the comic is good, but having ads every other page really screws up the storytelling in a dialogue-light, mostly art-led picture book of wolverine going "arrrgggghhhh berzerker rage!!!! snikt!!!". it was offputting

yeah anyway i would buy that book if i could, it probably does not have endless ads for the hulk movie

"The artwork is wild, dark and stylish. Just check out Wolverine's red eyes! It gives him a dangerous factor that is missing in some of his other stories."

what i want is for amazon to keep a record of what the specific transactions sellers have received good feedback for is, like, if people are actually paying for stuff from them that is this expensive.

but yeah, i was at the comic shop yesterday and was flipping through the grant morrison/j.h. williams batman comic, and it was like, ads and ads and more uh ads.

i'm not sure that i understand how floppy comics can be both so ridiculously expensive AND have so very many ads.
