Stuff White People Like.

I found a link on Best Week Ever. I read a couple of entries and thought it was somewhat funny. Then I realized, hey, this isn't about white people, it's about hipsters! or, at least, middle class white people who devote at least a moderate portion of their day to attempting to be cool. (But those are the same thing, right?)

Enh, I found that it wasn't really so much about hipsters as it was about yuppies. Hipsters are the pupal form of yuppies, mind. Middle-to-upper class liberal yuppies = white people, which more or less makes sense: they're the ones keeping Whole Foods in business, they're the ones willing to end friendships over recycling, they're the ones who won't shut up about their lifechanging experience backpacking through Europe. Sometimes the site does hit a little close to home, though, like when white people are called out for apologizing constantly.

I only fit like maybe five of the things mentioned. Like some have implied, I don't think that this really applies to conservative white people.
