More tidbits (this time from Alan Menken) about bringing a stage adaptation of HoND to US. *crosses fingers*http://broadwayworld.com/article/

YESYESYES. I am soooo excited to see this happen! And the fact that they're sticking with the original book means there's a good chance they wont fuck around with the ending :)

I say SISTER ACT and LOVE NEVER DIES are two of the best scores of the last ten years, no question.

...hmmmm. Alan, I love you to death, but I may have just lost a smigen of respect for you.

They keep talking about bringing HoND to stage but it has been years... -_- Really hope it comes soon, I'll go watch it in a heartbeat!

I think it was the interviewer and not Alan Menken who said that, so you can get your smigen of respect back. =)

Thanks for the article, it was an interesting read. I don't live in America or Germany, so I have little hope of ever seeing this musical in any form, but I would love to get my hands on the English-language soundtrack someday. So here's hoping they get it done!

I don't live in America either, but I missed my chance in Germany and would really like to watch it on Broadway, so here's hoping! =)

I will actually cry so much more if they change the original Berlin ending than I did when I SAW the original ending (Oh and I mean this in a good way...the original ending is excellent and much more faithful to the book, while still keeping the Disney magic intact!)

Please please please don't let this turn out terrible =(
