I am feeling particularly irked this evening, and I need to vent.. I have decided that the people who most deserve to be the recipients of my anger are those of you who have bitched about Bush, hate his guts, but for whatever reason did not show up to vote last year

Yeah, I was pretty suprised how few people were at the voting place I went to. Then even more suprised how few people I knew voted.

Now, if they were conspiracy crazy enough, I could let it slide. Just because they would have to really believe that all the electronic votes were faked and your vote didn't count.

I still believe that it was possible, but not enough to not vote.

But if you think the other side is going to cheat, that is even more reason to vote.. It is much harder to hide 5%+ of votes than it is to hide 1%

But to be a good conspiracy theory, you have to give "THEM" God-like powers. Therefor you alieviate any and all responsibility from yourself to actually DO anything. You just gossip theories.

Yeah, that is the other thing that drives me nuts about a lot of Democrats or unregistered people.. They love to bitch about how bad things are and when it comes time to do one tiny little thing to make something better themselves, they fold because it is 'pointless.' And in doing so, they are the ones giving them the power...

**It should be noted that I hate both parties pretty much equally, and they both have somewhat good factions and some that need to be killed.

I think I stopped being appalled by it back in the Reagan administration, when I ran the numbers and figured out that the 2nd term 'landslide' actually consisted of less than 24% of eligible voters... but I'm still depressed.
