I was inspired by my friend's posting of the Yes on 8 ad.... (she posted it to show how ignorant and dense the opposition is, she's voting no too)

The disappointing thing to me is that so far, of all the ads I've seen on this issue, the "yes" ads are much more compelling than the "no" ads.

If I didn't know much about the issue, or hadn't already made up my mind, after seeing the ads from both camps, I'd probably end up voting in favor of prop 8, and that's mostly because the ads against it just aren't very good.

I'd love to see a version of the Newt Gingrich ad changed so that he's talking about interracial marriage instead of gay marriage. The similarities of arguments against gay marriage to the arguments against allowing interracial marriage are one of the most disturbing aspects of this whole campaign, in my opinion.
