Well, I would like to say that I didn't mean everything I wrote in this comment. although I did mean a lot of it. I don't believe that cursing makes you a bad person or unintelligent. I don't hate you if you curse, and you aren't a savage. Some of my words were way too strong. I do believe that our tounges were God given and they were meant for such a greater cause then cursing. I believe that were were gifted with speech to serve a purpose higher than any of us realise, and I think that not only cursing but many other things we do with our mouths only hinder us from reaching that goal. But I won't say that I don't curse ever, or that I don't insult people or that I don't misuse my mouth. I do all of that just like everyone else, but I try at least to not curse. I do not think though that a Christian can look me in the eye and validate cursing. it's wrong in any aspect. Ok. but yeah a lot of my friends cuss, doesn't mean I don't like them or I think poorly of them. I would just say that I think more highly of a person if

so is frick a bad word? is saying 'what the freak' a bad phrase. no. those words were given an explicit meaning due to the hard consonant sounds they make. SOMEONE labeled them 'bad words.' i do not think that cursing is ALWAYS appropriate, but i do it when i want to convey distatste, for when i say them, i am usually trying to point out a person's stupidity, or i am talking about someone or something i do not like. 'cursing' is used for tone purposes, or at least, that is why i use it. but i do agree that someone who can only use those words to show any emotion is of a lot shittier mental capacity that you or i.

I agree with Luke to a point. I think just throwing around the f word with no apparent reason other than that you think its cool is stupid. And no one will convince me it isn't bad because the Bible specificly says not to. I'm not saying I don't ever do anything wrong and I curse when I'm pissed off or something like that but just using it in everyday speech is dumb. If anyone honestly believed that there was absolutly nothing wrong with cursing then it would be used in church or at youth. The fact that it's not proves that it's immoral. I also have no respect for someone who can insult someone without having the balls to leave their name.
