i didn't like that movie.

I DIDNT LIKE IT EITHER..
larry king called it one of the best movies hes ever seen... i was like uhhh really..?!
i thought their voices were all mediocre.. i think the girl that played christine was very cute, but thats all.. christine is supposed to be an amazing soprano and some of her notes were painful.. the phantom couldnt sing.. and though i liked raoul's voice.. his character is supposed to be really manly and umm this guy didnt really portray that..
but im not a huge fan of andrew lloyd webber as it is.. so there ya go.. :)
**i did like masquerade though, i thought that was well done..
ps im also just a huge fan of michael crawford so i was sad to not have him in the movie...

The girl who played Christine (Emmy Rossum, I think) was TOTALLY horrible at lipsyncing. Whether she was lipsyncing to her own voice or not, it still looks bad if you watch her closely.

I'm such an asshole, I can't just watch a movie and enjoy the story, I tear it apart with criticism.

i want to see it soo bad. i can't believe i havent yet. my aunt "burnt" me a cassette tape of the soundtrack when i was in like 7th grade and i was obsessed even though i didn't understand what the story was really about. over time i started to understand it. i missed it when it came to town, so i guess this movie is the next best thing. i can't wait to see the masquerade scene, sigh...
