Interesting article/interview. I found it kind of strange that Sea referred to her character only by female name+pronouns.. but I don't watch the show, so maybe Max is some flavor of genderqueer rather than male-IDed and Sea's name/pronoun use makes sense? In any case.. I agree, what an interesting life story!

I think it's because the issue is a couple years old... the character may not have been solidified?

I'm guessing too, but on the interview it says vol 16 issue 1, and they are now on 17/7, so it's gotta be a while. I don't normally read it so I don't really know.
