Title: He's Just Like You: Trust Pairing: C/Z, Torrin/OFC Rating: R Disclaimer: Don't own! Synopsis: More future-AU!C/Z-Dads!Fic; Casey's old-fashioned.
Teen Torrin! That was a shock, with him being young a bit ago. But I remember his teenaged self and found his angsty embarrasment adorable. Oh Casey! At first I though he was secretly shocked and disappointed that his son was straight, but no, just his ultra stiff upbringing and maybe a squidge of latent jealously, that HE never got to experiment when younger. The thing that rings true is how much they all love each other. But Zeke as the calm still centre was the real hero, smoothing the hurts and making everyone realise that this is natural and no big deal. I hope that Casey gets to chill even more as he gets used to Amanda. He wants his son to be happy and it looks like this could happen with this girlfriend. He's raised Torrin to care about others so yeah, he just needs time to adjust, trust in the good job they've done raising that boy, and chillax in the tub with Zeke some more! Great story and I love the whole family. I like scooting back to see him small, then older. Like flipping through a photo album or home
( ... )
Geez, Casey is SUCH a drama-queen but glad Torrin knows that. I'm with him though as I think 15 is too young to have a sexual relationship with someone. I'd want to meet with the girl's parents and talk this one out; make sure that kiddo's on birth control and all.
Hmmm...kids do have a way of growing up on us, don't they? lol
Oh, what a great story. I love this universe (need to go back to read the other stories about them I've missed). I can understand that it was like a shock for Casey to find them together in bed. Just good that Zeke was able to find the right words for Torin and that he could make Casey think again about it. His talk with Amanda was great ... this girl is smart and nice and it's good that Casey finally is able to accept that Torin has a girlfriend. Yes, they are young, but they are obviously in love ... oh, puppy love ... sigh ...

This kind of hit home for me as my son's first GF was named Amanda, too. I won't say anymore. :D
